The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS)

The TEAS Exam is a product of ATI and is used as part of the admissions process by the NSU听听Program. The school of nursing requires a听30-day window in-between each attempt. For more information please reach out to your听听for more details of your program.

How many times can you take the TEAS test at NSU

If you have taken the test听at NSU听you will have only听3 attempts听(first-time, 1st retake, 2nd retake). Attempts afterwards will have to be done through听听or by other means.

TEAS Exam Details (subjects, # of questions, time time)

The ATI TEAS exam is comprised of 170 total questions, with 209 minutes in allocated testing time. Questions types include multiple choice, multiple select (select all that apply), fill in the blank, ordered response and hotspots.

Are calculators allowed while taking the exam?

Calculators are not allowed. ATI has an integrated calculator within the exam.

How to print and view ATI TEAS results.

To print results:听 first, click the My Results tab at the top of your account. Then click on the name of the test you wish to print. Click 鈥淒ownload Report鈥 in the upper right corner of the screen. This will save a PDF of your results to your computer. Open the file from the location it was saved to on your computer. Choose Print.

How do I send my TEAS Transcripts

If you have taken your TEAS exam听at NSU, your TEAS transcript that is included in your TEAS exam registration is automatically sent to the NSU School of Nursing.

If you have taken your TEAS exam听outside听of NSU. You would need to send your transcripts to the NSU School of Nursing.

NSU TEAS will be proctored remotely and in-person. Please note that the exam fee of $97 is听non-refundable. Reservations are first come, first serve. Re-scheduling will not be allowed.

Students should set up an account with听听account prior to testing.
