Scorpion Academic Scholarship Program
麻豆原创 has developed one of the most attractive recruitment scholarship offerings in the State of 麻豆原创.聽 These scholarship offerings reward incoming students for their prior academic performance and help put you on the road to success at 麻豆原创 State.
First Generation Students
First & Fierce Scholarship
First & Fierce is dedicated to serving first-generation 麻豆原创 State students by providing them with essential resources and holistic support to create equitable opportunities for success in higher education.
Matching Scholarship Program
This scholarship is available to new and continuing students. 麻豆原创 will provide a match of up to $500 total per semester to students who receive scholarships from an outside agency for their attendance at 麻豆原创 (excludes any scholarships awarded by 麻豆原创, NSHE, or the State of 麻豆原创).
The match will be automatically applied during the semester the outside scholarship is awarded to degree-seeking students with a minimum 2.75 cumulative NS GPA who are making Satisfactory Academic Progress and are enrolled full-time (12 or more financial aid-eligible credits鈥). Award disbursements will be held each semester until after the enrollment cancellation for non-attendance has taken place. A matching scholarship will not be awarded if it causes a student鈥檚 financial aid package to exceed their calculated Cost of Attendance.
MARCOS Scholarship
The NSF S-STEM funded Mentoring to Accelerate Retention and Change Outcomes in Science (MARCOS) scholarship awards up to $15,000 per year for incoming freshman through sophomore (less than 60 credits) students majoring in Biology, non-clinical Psychology, Environmental Sciences, and Chemistry. The MARCOS scholarship targets high achieving, low income students who are Pell eligible and have a 3.0 GPA or higher. To be eligible, students must take at least 12 credits per semester and will be assigned blocked classes to help progression through their STEM degree plans. All MARCOS Scholars will be provided a dedicated faculty mentor, access to professional development, paid internships, and travel funds for scholarly endeavors.
Millennium Scholarship
Eligible Millennium Scholars must be enrolled full-time (12 or more financial aid-eligible credits) to receive the $60 per credit award and may be funded for up to 15 credits per semester. Remedial courses are not eligible for funding, but will count toward the full-time enrollment requirement. Immigrants Rising Scholarships and Fellowships
Immigrants Rising maintains a curated list of scholarships and fellowships that are open to all students regardless of immigration status.
Financial Aid Eligible Credits
鈥 In order to qualify for any financial aid funding, including grants, scholarships or loans, a course must fulfill an unmet requirement for a student鈥檚 degree or certificate program at 麻豆原创.
