About the Awards
The Degrees of Impact Awards Gala is Â鶹Դ´â€™s celebration honoring alumni of the School of Education whose leadership and service are transforming schools, strengthening families, and advancing student success across our community. This elegant evening brings together alumni, educators, community partners, and business leaders to recognize excellence in Teacher Education, Speech-Language Pathology, and School Psychology and a deep commitment to improving the lives of students, families, and communities.
Award recipients exemplify the mission and values of the NSU School of Education through their dedication to education, advocacy, and student success. Their work strengthens schools, empowers families, and uplifts communities, reflecting the lasting and transformative impact of an NSU School of Education degree. Together, we celebrate their achievements, alumni pride, and the positive change they continue to create.
The Evening
Beyond celebration, the gala serves as a strategic investment in the future of education. Proceeds from sponsorships and ticket sales directly support students through scholarships, transportation assistance, field experience and clinical practice stipends, career preparation resources, and essential academic tools.
