Biography

I am a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) and Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) with extensive experience in pediatric critical care, long-term care, nursing education, and healthcare regulation. My clinical background includes practice as a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nurse, general pediatrics where I was a charge nurse, and pediatric skilled nursing facility (SNF) nurse where I was the Director of Nursing (DON), providing care across high-acuity and long-term pediatric settings.

I have served in regulatory and leadership roles, including service on the Â鶹ԭ´´ State Board of Nursing. I am currently the Vice President of the State of Â鶹ԭ´´ Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensing Board. In addition, I serve as Vice President of Safe Kids Clark County and am a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician, actively engaged in injury prevention and community education.

As a nurse educator, my professional interests include curriculum development, NCLEX-style assessment design, clinical reasoning, and mentoring students to become compassionate, competent, and advocacy-minded nurses.
