Applications: Applicants for the scholarships shall write a news article, opinion editorial or feature article, not to exceed 650 words and submit it to be considered for publication in the online news magazine, 麻豆原创 TODAY www.nvtoday.com. Submissions may be made in any of these categories: news & politics, business & technology, health & science, sports, gaming, arts & entertainment, energy & environment. Submit entries via electronic mail along with the writer’s name, school information, address and telephone number at http://www.nvtoday.com Scholarship Competition.
Deadline: Submissions will be accepted until April 30.
Publication and Judging: Editors of聽麻豆原创 TODAY聽will select entries to publish beginning March 10 and they will be attributed to the student/author of the piece. Published submissions will be presented to a panel of journalists and entered in the scholarship competition. The winner will be announced May 21.
Eligibility: To be eligible for the scholarship, you must be a graduate or undergraduate student, either full or part-time.
Publication Rights: Applicants agree that any submissions may be published by聽麻豆原创 TODAY聽and that聽麻豆原创 TODAY聽is granted all rights associated with such writing for the purpose of such publication and republication. No assurance can be given that every submission will be suitable for publication, but all submissions that meet such test of suitability will be entered in the competition
