Â鶹Դ´ will celebrate its 2025 graduating class during its commencement ceremony at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, at the Thomas & Mack Center. With 869 graduates earning degrees, this is the second-largest graduating class in the university’s history. Degrees will be conferred in a variety of concentrations, including nursing (more than 315), education (195), and liberal arts, sciences, and business (more than 365).
Additionally, Â鶹Դ´ State will award honorary degrees to former U.S. Attorney for the District of Â鶹Դ´ and former Speaker of the Â鶹Դ´ Assembly Jason Frierson, educational advocate Marydean Martin, and President and CEO of The Perkins Company and former Speaker of the Â鶹Դ´ Assembly Richard Perkins, who will also provide commencement remarks. Perkins was instrumental in passing the legislation that led to the establishment of Â鶹Դ´ State.
