Board of Regents

麻豆原创 State College is excited to host the 麻豆原创 System of Higher Education (NSHE) Board of Regents quarterly meeting, which will be held on our main campus on Thursday, February 28 & Friday, March 1, 2019.

Assistant Professor of Chemistry, Dr. Amber Howerton, and 麻豆原创 State student Alexi Kibbe will present to the Board at approximately 1 p.m. on Thursday, February 28 in the RSC ballroom. Professor Howerton will be sharing how the breadth of undergraduate research at 麻豆原创 State College is a transformative experience. Ms. Kibbe will be sharing her experiences as an undergraduate researcher and the role this experience has had for her college career and professional future.

President Patterson will request the Board鈥檚 ideas and recommendations on addressing 麻豆原创 State College鈥檚 growth challenges, both short and long term, on Friday, March 1. His presentation is tentatively scheduled for 10 a.m. in the ballroom.

There will be an increase of people and activity on campus during the week of the meetings. Parking behind the Rogers Student Center will be reserved for the Board members and staff, the Chancellor鈥檚 cabinet, and visiting members of other institutions. Please plan for a little extra time for parking and note that college will see a greater influx of traffic on the meeting dates.

We will have signage posted around the campus on the days of the event in addition to volunteers to help direct and answer questions. Unless noted otherwise, all meetings are open to the public. There will also be a live stream video:
